Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, teaching licence or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of recent teaching experience.
• Experience teaching the relevant subject at Secondary level.
• Experience within an international school environment would be advantageous.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
• Experience with Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS/A Level would be advantageous.
• Experience with the American curriculum and AP courses would be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of assessment and using data to monitor and improve student progress.
• Ability to differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and learning needs.
• Strong classroom management skills and high expectations of student behaviour and achievement.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and student progress.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an international teaching team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
