Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Education or a relevant subject
• Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, teaching licence or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of recent teaching experience
• Experience teaching the relevant subject at Secondary level
• Experience within an international school environment would be advantageous
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons
• Experience with Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS/A Level would be advantageous
• Experience with the American curriculum and AP courses would be an advantage
• Strong understanding of assessment and using data to monitor and improve student progress
• Ability to differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
• Strong classroom management skills and high expectations of student behaviour and achievement
• Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and student progress
