Al Rabeeh Academy in Abu Dhabi seeks experienced English Teachers to join a dynamic, high-performing team for an immediate start. You will teach English across KS3–KS5 within a British curriculum, delivering engaging lessons and developing strong literacy skills in a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree with PGCE/QTS, experience with the English National Curriculum, and strong classroom management.

What We're Looking For

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with British curriculum standards, with the ability to teach English up to at least GCSE level.
• Model strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills through creative and effective teaching approaches.
• Use a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor, track, and support student progress.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development, and the creation of high-quality teaching resources.
• Support the academic and pastoral well-being of students, promoting the school’s values, routines, and high expectations.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents through clear communication regarding student progress, attainment, and next steps.
• Participate actively in school events, professional development, and broader whole-school initiatives.

Qualifications And Experience

• Be a fluent English speaker
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE / QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
• Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
