Job summary

NADIA Recruitment & Management Consultants is seeking a Secondary Chemistry Teacher to teach AS and A-Level Chemistry within a UK curriculum school environment in Dubai. You will plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons while supporting academic and pastoral objectives.

The role reports to the Vice Principal. Requirements include a Master’s in Chemistry, a teaching qualification (advantageous), and minimum 2 years UAE UK-curriculum teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry is mandatory.
• Teaching qualification is an advantage (PGCE, B.Ed., QTS, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a UAE UK-curriculum school.
• Strong classroom management and lesson-planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet student needs.
• Competent in basic Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons aligned with the UK curriculum (AS/A Level).
• Use effective teaching strategies to support diverse learners and abilities.
• Ensure continuous assessment of students, including homework and exams.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback.
• Develop and update schemes of work to meet curriculum requirements.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment and maintain discipline.
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with academic leadership.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and school events.
