Job summary

Rixos the Palm Dubai is seeking an experienced production chef to supervise mise-en-place for all F&B outlets, check quality, portioning, and presentation, and assist the Chef de Cuisine in developing new recipes. You will set up section rosters, manage stock with daily inventories, maintain high hygiene standards, and ensure safety procedures are followed, reporting any incidents to the Sous-Chef.

Fluency in English and immediate availability are preferred; prior Opera system experience is a

• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality.
• 5-7 years experience in 4-5 star Hotel.
• Preferably available to join immediately.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mise-en-place for all F&B outlets.
• Monitor freshness, preparation techniques and storage of ingredients.
• Check staff in section for personal hygiene.
• Assist in composing new recipes and menu ideas.
• Manage daily inventory and stock rotation.
• Ensure correct portioning, garnishing and plating.
• Maintain high standards of guest care and hygiene.
• Set up rosters in consultation with Sous-Chef.
• Monitor costs and help control budgets.

Education

Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality

5-7 years experience in 4-5 star Hotel
