Job summary

Techneplus Software India is seeking an experienced SDLC Governance Expert to support a customer in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, helping to establish and operationalize an enterprise-wide SDLC framework.

You will govern SDLC adoption across application and technology teams, ensuring projects follow defined standards, controls, quality gates, security requirements and release processes, while partnering with Engineering, QA, DevOps, Architecture, Cybersecurity and PMO.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of experience in Software Engineering, IT Governance, Quality/Process Governance or SDLC/DevSecOps.
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD, testing, release and change management.
• Experience establishing or governing SDLC frameworks within large enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Govern and monitor adherence to the enterprise SDLC framework across projects and teams.
• Define/enforce stage gates covering requirements, design, development, testing, security, deployment and production release.
• Conduct periodic SDLC compliance reviews and identify gaps and corrective actions.
• Establish governance dashboards, KPIs and reporting for technology leadership.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, approvals, traceability and audit evidence are maintained.
• Work closely with Engineering, QA, DevOps, Architecture, Cybersecurity and PMO teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of SDLC processes, including Agile/DevSecOps practices.

We are looking for an experienced SDLC Governance Expert to support a customer in establishing and operationalizing a strong, enterprise-wide Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework.

The role will be responsible for governing SDLC adoption across application and technology teams, ensuring projects consistently follow defined standards, controls, quality gates, security requirements, and release processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Govern and monitor adherence to the enterprise SDLC framework across projects and teams.
• Define/enforce stage gates covering requirements, design, development, testing, security, deployment and production release.
• Conduct periodic SDLC compliance reviews and identify gaps and corrective actions.
• Establish governance dashboards, KPIs and reporting for technology leadership.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, approvals, traceability and audit evidence are maintained.

Preferred Profile

• Experience establishing or governing SDLC frameworks within large enterprises.
• Strong stakeholder management, governance and executive reporting skills.
• Exposure to ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001, CMMI or similar governance frameworks is advantageous.
