Job summary

Showcify, Inc. is seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead to drive Agile delivery in a financial services environment in Dubai.

You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach teams, remove impediments, and collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. You will apply Scrum, Agile methodologies, Jira and Confluence across SDLC, fostering continuous improvement and elevated delivery maturity in fast-paced projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum hands-on experience as Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and SDLC.
• Experience coaching Agile teams and facilitating ceremonies.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Background in Financial Services or digital transformation is preferred.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead to lead Agile delivery teams and support successful project execution within a financial services environment.

The role will focus on facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching development teams, removing impediments, supporting the Product Owner, and ensuring Agile practices are effectively followed across projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Scrum, Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, SDLC, and preferably a background in financial services and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Scrum teams in adopting and effectively applying Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Facilitate and manage key Scrum ceremonies, including:
  • Sprint Planning
  • Daily Stand-ups
  • Sprint Reviews / Demos
  • Sprint Retrospectives
  • Backlog Refinement
• Coach Scrum and development teams to improve Agile maturity, collaboration, and self-organization.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to support backlog management, prioritization, and refinement.
• Identify, track, and remove impediments that may impact team productivity or delivery.
• Help teams identify gaps in Agile processes and implement appropriate improvements.
• Resolve conflicts and delivery issues within the Scrum team and across stakeholders.
• Support the Product Owner and development team in achieving customer and business objectives.
• Within larger projects, develop and maintain realistic project plans and monitor progress against agreed quality, timeline, and performance criteria.
• Ensure project activities and resources are appropriately planned and allocated.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business, marketing, customer service, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date Agile boards, sprint information, and project tracking in Jira.
• Ensure user stories are properly refined and that the backlog is ready for sprint planning.
• Promote continuous improvement and adherence to Agile best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching Agile teams.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern software development practices.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple business stakeholders.
• Strong experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Proven ability to identify and remove project/team impediments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Financial Services Experience

• Experience working within the Financial Services / Banking industry is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives within financial services.
• Understanding of digital technologies such as web and mobile applications is advantageous.
• Exposure to CRM systems and cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements and industry standards is desirable.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Science, or a related technical field preferred.
• PSM (Professional Scrum Master) certification required/preferred.
• SSM (SAFe Scrum Master) certification required/preferred.
