Job summary

A minimum of three years of academic leadership experience in a British Curriculum school in the UAE is required. You will lead departmental planning, collaborate with SLT, and monitor teaching quality to maintain

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Chemistry or Physics.
• Bachelor of Education is an advantage.
• Strong command of the English language (spoken and written).
• Must currently be available in the UAE.

• Work closely with teachers to enhance subject knowledge pedagogy and instructional practices to improve student outcomes
• Lead and contribute effectively to departmental and whole-school planning
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support and raise academic standards
• Ensure teaching practices align with the UAE framework for teaching and learning maintaining a minimum standard of good in all lessons
• Monitor evaluate and support teaching quality within the department
• Undertake other duties related to departmental leadership as required
