Job summary

International Community Schools (ICS) Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified IT Officer to oversee and support the school's IT infrastructure and daily technology operations. The role requires hands-on expertise in Google Admin Console and Microsoft 365 administration, plus network management including firewalls, VLANs, access points, and AVAYA systems.

The successful candidate will support both academic and administrative technology needs, ensure data security and backups, and align with ADEK

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is required.
• Mandatory prior experience in a school IT environment (UAE preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience in Google Admin Console and Microsoft 365 Administration.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT infrastructure and network management across the school.
• Administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Provide hardware, software, and AVAYA systems support.
• Support end-users, including teaching staff and admin, for daily IT needs.
• Maintain IT policies, asset inventory, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Ensure ADEK compliance and secure, reliable IT operations.
