Job summary

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Finance Officer for Bateen World Academy in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on managing fee collections, petty cash, budgets, and HQ reporting to support daily school operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, at least two years in a related role, and strong English communication. Preference for applicants with experience in education and Arabic language skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
• 2+ years experience in a similar role in the region
• Customer service experience required
• Education sector experience preferred
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Strong interpersonal and office management skills
• Arabic language skills preferable

Responsibilities

• Respond to parents’ requirements and inquiries related to finance or admissions
• Manage collection of tuition fees and late payments
• Follow up on late payments and returned cheques
• Manage petty cash including reconciliation and replenishment
• Prepare bank collection reports and cheques scanning
• Coordinate with HQ for payment of trips, activities, and related lists
• Handle stationery and supplies orders and allocations
• Oversee book orders, reprographic analysis, and HoD spend updates
• Monitor department budgets; prepare monthly income/ expenditure statements
• Coordinate with Examinations officer on external exams and related fees
• Manage self-funded budgets and transport invoices
• Oversee charity contributions and reporting to designated destinations
• Comply with health and safety and school policies
• Attend required training and perform other duties as assigned
