FADA is seeking a Satellite Operations Engineer to join our operations team in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves translating mission requirements into satellite tasking plans and operating the satellite day-to-day as the main interface with end users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interface with end users and produce clear status updates.
• Willingness to work shifts and participate in on-call rotation if required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main interface between end users and FADA, translating mission requirements into satellite tasking plans.
• Plan and schedule satellite acquisitions, ensuring optimal use of the satellite in line with end-user priorities.
• Provide periodic reporting to the end user on acquisition status and deviations from the plan.
• Support the satellite operations day-to-day, including commanding, monitoring, and managing routine and contingency operations.
• Monitor satellite health and performance, detect anomalies and assist in issue resolution.
• Maintain operations logs and documentation.
