Job summary

SALT in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise transformation project. You will design, integrate and automate HR processes, collaborating with product, integration and automation engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

In this hands-on role you will leverage deep SAP SuccessFactors expertise across Employee Central, OData APIs and workflows, connecting HR data with broader enterprise platforms and digital services

Qualifications

• 6+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience.
• Deep hands-on Employee Central expertise.
• Strong knowledge of SuccessFactors OData/API.
• Experience designing and supporting SuccessFactors workflows.
• Understanding RBAC/Role-Based Permissions.
• Practical enterprise integration experience.
• Experience supporting live HR environments.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
• Work with master data and organisational structures.
• Support modules: Time Off, Compensation, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance, Learning.
• Map HR processes into SuccessFactors objects and workflows.
• Design and support employee and manager self-service workflows.
• Work with SuccessFactors OData APIs and external integrations.
• Integrate with SAP BTP / Integration Suite where applicable.
• Integrate SuccessFactors with SAP S/4HANA and other ERPs.
• Ensure HR approvals, controls and governance for automations.
• Implement role-based access and protect sensitive data.
• Support testing, UAT and production rollout.
• Troubleshoot API, integration and data issues.

SAP SuccessFactors Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

12-month initial contract - with extensions

Are you an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Engineer looking to work on a large-scale enterprise transformation programme in Abu Dhabi

We are looking for a strong SuccessFactors specialist to help design, integrate and automate enterprise HR processes, working alongside product, integration and automation engineering teams.

This is a hands-on role combining deep SAP SuccessFactors expertise with enterprise integration, workflow automation and modern employee experience technologies. You will play a key role in connecting SAP SuccessFactors with wider enterprise platforms and digital services, helping to create secure, scalable and automated HR processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and enhancing SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
• Working across employee master data and organisational structures
• Supporting modules including Time Off, Compensation, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance and Learning
• Mapping HR business processes into SuccessFactors objects and workflows
• Designing and supporting employee and manager self-service workflows
• Working extensively with SuccessFactors OData APIs
• Exposing SuccessFactors data and functionality through supported APIs
• Designing integrations with external workflow and employee-experience applications
• Supporting SAP BTP / Integration Suite integrations where applicable
• Integrating SuccessFactors with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems
• Identifying where processes should remain SuccessFactors-native versus where external automation should be introduced
• Ensuring automation maintains appropriate HR approvals, controls and governance
• Implementing role-based access and protecting sensitive employee information
• Supporting functional testing, UAT and production rollout
• Troubleshooting API, integration and data issues

What We're Looking For. You will ideally have:

• 6+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience
• Strong hands-on Employee Central expertise
• Strong SuccessFactors OData/API knowledge
• Experience designing and supporting SuccessFactors workflows
• Strong understanding of Role-Based Permissions (RBP)
• Practical enterprise integration experience
• Experience supporting live, production HR environments
