Accenture PLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced SAP Consultant to lead design, implementation, and optimisation of SAP solutions across logistics, finance, HR, and assets. You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage workshops, and ensure data integrity and audit readiness in regulated environments.

The role requires deep SAP module knowledge, strong communication with senior leaders, and the ability to mentor client teams and junior consultants.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant to lead and support the design, implementation, and optimisation of SAP solutions. The successful candidate will bring deep functional and/or technical expertise across SAP modules relevant to operations, including logistics, asset management, procurement, finance, and human resources. You will work closely with client stakeholders, programme managers, and technical teams to deliver mission-critical SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP implementation and support projects
• Gather and translate complex business requirements into SAP functional and technical specifications
• Configure, test, and deploy SAP modules in line with SAP standards and regulatory frameworks
• Provide subject matter expertise across relevant SAP modules (listed below)
• Liaise with stakeholders to manage expectations and drive solution adoption
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and audit readiness across all SAP environments
• Contribute to solution architecture design and continuous improvement initiativesManage and mentor junior consultants and client-side SAP teams

Finance & Controlling

• SAP FI (Financial Accounting) – General ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting for assets
• SAP CO (Controlling) – Cost centre accounting, internal orders, project cost tracking
• SAP FM (Funds Management) – Budget management, commitment accounting aligned to regulatory spending controls
• SAP GM (Grants Management) – Funding from agencies
• SAP PSM (Public Sector Management) –Budget execution and compliance

Logistics & Supply Chain

• SAP MM (Materials Management) – Procurement, inventory management, catalogue management
• SAP WM / EWM (Warehouse / Extended Warehouse Management) – Depot management, spare parts logistics
• SAP IM (Inventory Management) – Stock control including serialised and batch-managed items
• SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) – Inter-agency sales, cross-charging, equipment loans and returns
• SAP TM (Transportation Management) – Movement of equipment, vehicles, and materiel
• SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) – Export controls, dual-use goods compliance, ITAR/EAR adherence

Plant Maintenance & Asset Management

• SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) – Equipment maintenance scheduling, corrective and preventive maintenance
• SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) – Full lifecycle management of assets
• SAP CS (Customer Service) – Equipment repair and return management

Project & Programme Management

• SAP PS (Project System) – Management of acquisition projects, capital programmes, and R&D
• SAP PPM (Portfolio & Project Management) – Programme, resource planning, and milestone tracking

Human Resources & Workforce

• SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) – personnel records, payroll, absence management
• SAP SuccessFactors – Talent acquisition, performance management, and workforce planning

Quality & Compliance

• SAP QM (Quality Management) – Inspection lots, quality control, supplier qualification
• SAP GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) – Access control, audit management, segregation of duties, regulatory compliance

Analytics & Reporting

• SAP BW/4HANA – operational reporting and data warehousing
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) – Dashboards, KPIs, and mission readiness reporting

Technology & Integration

• SAP S/4HANA – Core ERP platform (on-premise or private cloud for classified environments)
• SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) – Integration, automation, and app development
• SAP PI/PO / Integration Suite – Middleware integration
• SAP Fiori – Role-based UX for field and operational users

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) delivering SAP solutions in highly regulated environments
• Deep functional expertise in at least three of the above SAP modules
• Understanding of procurement frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at senior/executive level
• SAP certification in one or more relevant modules (desirable)

Desirable Requirements

• Knowledge of ITIL, PRINCE2, or Agile delivery methodologies
• Experience with SAP RISE or private cloud deployment
• Background in logistics, engineering, or programme management
