Job summary

Staff Connect Information Technology Consultants is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA SCM & Manufacturing Lead for a UAE-based group-wide transformation. You will govern solution design, validate SI deliverables and work with stakeholders to implement end-to-end SAP processes.

You will guide data migration, drive fit-to-standard workshops, and mentor in-house SAP capability post go-live, ensuring stabilization and continuous improvement across the run phase.

Qualifications

• 8+ years SAP experience in supply chain and/or manufacturing.
• 2–3 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, or transformation projects.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MM, PP, SD and QM with WM/EWM/PM exposure.
• Understanding of discrete manufacturing, make-to-order, make-to-stock processes.
• Ability to review designs, identify gaps and challenge non-standard approaches.
• Experience with testing cycles, data migration and go-live readiness.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as client-side functional lead for SAP S/4HANA SCM and Manufacturing across MM, PP, SD and QM.
• Review and validate SI solution designs, configurations, developments and process recommendations.
• Translate requirements into practical SAP S/4HANA solutions with business process owners.
• Drive fit-to-standard workshops, design discussions, pilots, testing and cutover planning.
• Support data migration activities including cleansing, validation and sign-off.
• Coordinate with integration teams on SAP interfaces, APIs, middleware and CPI.
• Own post go-live stabilization, enhancements and run-phase improvements.
• Build SAP knowledge internally and reduce external dependency.

Job Title: SAP SD/MM/PS Consultant

Job Role

A UAE-based conglomerate is undertaking a group-wide SAP S/4HANA transformation across multiple businesses. We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA SCM & Manufacturing Lead to act as the client-side functional expert and design authority for supply chain and manufacturing processes. The role will govern solution design, validate System Integrator deliverables, work closely with business stakeholders, and help build long-term in-house SAP capability after go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the client-side functional lead for SAP S/4HANA SCM and Manufacturing across MM, PP, SD, and QM, with working capability in WM/EWM and PM.
• Review, challenge, and validate the System Integrators solution designs, configurations, developments, and process recommendations.
• Partner with business process owners across entities to translate manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, inventory, sales and quality requirements into practical SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Drive fit-to-standard workshops, business process design discussions, conference-room pilots, testing, cutover planning, go-live readiness and hypercare support.
• Support data migration activities for master and transactional data, including cleansing, validation, reconciliation and business sign-off support.
• Coordinate with integration teams on SAP interfaces, APIs, middleware, SAP CPI and connected business applications.
• Own post go-live stabilization, functional support, issue resolution, enhancements and continuous improvement across the run phase.
• Build SAP knowledge internally, mentor business super-users, and reduce long-term dependency on external vendors.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of SAP experience in supply chain and/or manufacturing domains.
• At least 2–3 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, or transformation projects.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MM, PP, SD and QM, with working exposure to WM/EWM and PM.
• Good understanding of discrete manufacturing, make-to-order, make-to-stock, procurement, inventory, logistics, sales and quality processes.
• Ability to independently review functional designs, identify process gaps and challenge non-standard or over-customized solution approaches.
• Experience with testing cycles, cutover, data migration, business readiness and post-go-live stabilization.
• Strong communication, documentation, stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

Preferred candidate profile

• Exposure to SAP clean-core principles, released APIs, CDS views, extensibility and SAP BTP concepts.
• Working knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and how they support business processes in S/4HANA.
• Planning exposure in PP-DS or SAP IBP is an advantage.
• Experience with variant configuration in LO-VC or AVC is desirable.
• Experience in Oracle EBS-to-SAP S/4HANA migration environments will be an added advantage.
• SAP S/4HANA certification in relevant logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain modules is preferred.
• GCC/Middle East experience is preferred but not required.
