Job summary

ENOC Lubricants and Grease Manufacturing Plant LLC seeks a laboratory assistant to support chemists and lab staff in the lubricants lab at the plant. You will draw samples, maintain the lab and equipment, ensure proper storage of retention samples, and help maintain a ready chemical supply for testing.

The role emphasizes adherence to HSE policies, safe working practices, and participation in the laboratory management system within the plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School certificate or equivalent with laboratory exposure.
• 1–2 years of experience in a lab environment, preferably in lubricants blending.

Responsibilities

• Assist chemists and lab assistants in operation of the lab.
• Draw samples of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products as directed.
• Maintain clean laboratory and glassware and ensure proper storage of samples.
• Ensure adequate supply of laboratory chemicals by replenishing from store.

Job description

Responsible for assisting the laboratory Chemists and Lab Assistants in the operation of the laboratory of Lubricating Oils and Greases in the plant

Principal Accountabilities

• Draws samples of raw material packaging material and finished products as per the directions of the Chemist lab assistant
• Maintains the laboratory and laboratory equipment apparatus glassware in a clean condition all the times
• Ensures proper storage and easy recall of the laboratory retention samples
• Ensures the adequate supply of laboratory chemicals is available for testing by replenishment from the store at proper intervals
• Participates in the implementation of the HSE policy of the company and follow safe working practises across the plant
• Supports the laboratory management system

Experience
