Middle East Optical in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Sales & Customer Service Executive for optical retail. You will assist customers in selecting eyewear, provide product information, and process sales with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting eyewear (frames, lenses, accessories).
• Provide clear product information, recommendations, and pricing details.
• Promote offers, packages, and add-ons per company policy.
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and professional service at all times.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and organization.
• Receive, organize, and arrange merchandise, attach barcodes and pricing.
• Enter sales data and invoices into the electronic system after training.
• Issue invoices and process payments per procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of daily financial entries and perform cash closing with precision.
• Adhere to Dress Code Policy and wear the official uniform during working hours.
• Arrive 15 minutes early for morning shifts and follow shift schedules.
• Comply with all company policies related to discipline, attendance, and administrative tasks.

Job description

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in optical stores or fashion retail.
• Preferred: Ability to obtain a residence visa under personal or spouse sponsorship; the company will cover residency-related costs.
• Good conduct, professional ethics, honesty, transparency, and respectful behavior when dealing with colleagues and customers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team and integrate within a collaborative work environment.
• Willingness to accept instructions and guidance and apply them accurately.
• Ability to learn quickly, accurately remember product names and details, and ensure correct and precise data entry.
• Preferably residing in a nearby area to ensure reliable and timely arrival for shift schedules.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

First:Sales & Customer Service Duties

• Welcome customers in a professional and friendly manner and understand their needs.
• Assist customers in selecting suitable eyewear (frames, lenses, and accessories).
• Provide clear product information, recommendations, and pricing details.
• Promote ongoing offers, packages, and add-on products according to company policy.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and professional service at all times.

Second:Operational Responsibilities (Based on Company Policy)

• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the showroom and display areas.
• Participate in receiving, organizing, and arranging merchandise, including attaching barcodes and pricing.
• Accurately enter sales data and invoices into the company’s electronic system following training guidelines.
• Issue invoices and process payments in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy of daily financial entries and perform daily cash closing with full precision.
• Comply with the company’s Dress Code Policy, including wearing the official uniform during working hours.
• Adhere to shift schedules, including arriving 15 minutes early for the morning shift for preparation.
• Follow all company policies related to discipline, appearance, attendance, and administrative instructions.
