Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell LV switchgear panels to contractors, consultants, developers, and other prospective clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Review RFQs, technical drawings, and project specifications to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with design and estimation teams on costing, technical requirements, and tender submissions.
• Follow up on quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and convert opportunities into orders.
• Ensure proposals comply with UAE authority requirements (DEWA, ADQC, SEWA, EWE).
• Maintain sales reports and monitor the sales pipeline.

Job Summary

Rove Group is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer – Switchgear to join its team. The successful candidate will drive sales of low-voltage (LV) switchgear panels, develop client relationships, and identify new business opportunities within the UAE electrical market. The role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to prepare compliant proposals and negotiate successful sales agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell LV switchgear panels to contractors, consultants, developers, and other prospective clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Review requests for quotations (RFQs), technical drawings, and project specifications to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with design and estimation teams on costing, technical requirements, and tender submissions.
• Follow up on quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and convert sales opportunities into confirmed orders.
• Ensure technical and commercial proposals comply with relevant UAE authority requirements, including DEWA, ADQC, SEWA, and EWE standards.
• Maintain sales reports, monitor the sales pipeline, and provide updates on market developments.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are addressed effectively.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational Credentials: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Work Experience: Mandatory 3–5 years of UAE experience in LV switchgear sales.
• Technical & Software Skills: Strong understanding of LV switchgear systems, electrical panels, technical drawings, project specifications, and proposal preparation.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the UAE electrical market and applicable authority requirements, including DEWA, ADQC, SEWA, and EWE.
• Core Competencies: Excellent communication, negotiation, client relationship management, and business development skills.
• Driving Licence: A valid UAE driving licence is required.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; Hindi is preferred.
• Availability: Immediate joiners are preferred.
• Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 75%.
