RaYo Marine seeks a Sales Engineer – Marine in the United Arab Emirates to identify and grow business opportunities, manage key accounts, and promote marine engines, gearboxes, and propulsion systems to boatbuilders and marine operators.

You will prepare technical proposals, deliver product presentations, conduct site visits, and coordinate with engineering and logistics teams to ensure timely quotations and order fulfillment. Fluency in English is required, with GCC market experience preferred.

RaYo Marine focuses on reliable product availability and technical support to keep vessels operating efficiently. Role Description

The Sales Engineer – Marine is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer accounts, and promoting marine engines, gearboxes, propulsion systems, and couplings to boatbuilders and marine operators. Day-to-day tasks include preparing technical and commercial proposals, conducting product presentations and site visits, advising customers on suitable configurations, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate quotations and timely order fulfillment. The Sales Engineer will monitor market trends, support after-sales activities, and maintain accurate records of sales activities in line with company processes. Collaboration with engineering, logistics, and service teams is critical to deliver high-quality customer experiences and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of marine engines, gearboxes, propulsion systems, and related mechanical components, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Demonstrated experience in technical sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the marine or industrial equipment sector.
• Proficiency in preparing technical and commercial proposals, conducting product demonstrations, and delivering clear presentations to diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with customers and partners.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Comfort working on-site and in marine environments, including visiting shipyards, workshops, and customer facilities as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in marine equipment.
• Proficiency in standard office productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM systems) and readiness to learn company-specific systems.
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment, uphold safety standards, and comply with local regulations and company policies.
• Fluency in English; additional regional languages are an advantage. Prior experience in the GCC market or UAE marine industry is preferred.
