Job summary

MENA Consultant in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks an experienced Sales Engineer for the Electrical Division to drive growth in industrial, power, utilities, and oil & gas sectors across the UAE. The role requires 5–8 years of UAE sales experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and fluent English.

On-site work with a focus on developing client-specific engineered electrical solutions and building lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the electrical sector.

• Understand customer requirements and coordinate suitable solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, consultants and contractors.
• Collaborate with division management, marketing, and proposal engineers on solutions.
• Support preparation and follow-up of technical and commercial proposals.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activities.
• Support business development and sales growth within the Electrical Division.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join the Electrical Division in Abu Dhabi. The role will focus on developing business opportunities and promoting electrical systems and solutions for clients across industrial, power, utilities, and oil & gas industries in the UAE.

Key Requirements

• 5–8 years of sales experience in the UAE within electrical systems and solutions, such as: AC/DC systems, Industrial batteries (NI-CD, Lead Acid), generator control panels, protection relays, transformers, substations etc.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical power distribution and control systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful completion of the General Electrical Engineer Assessment Exam by TAQA.
• Valid UAE driving license.

Other Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
