Job summary

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or petroleum engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in sales engineering or drilling products in oil & gas.
• Strong understanding of drilling equipment and field operations.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Proficient with MS Office and general computing.
• Willingness to work both in office and at client rigs/sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Section Head – Drilling Products in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, reviewing quotations, and selecting the most suitable vendors.
• Coordinate the timely delivery of drilling equipment and materials to clients.
• Assist in managing relationships with assigned international principals and suppliers.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for clients.
• Support payment follow-ups with suppliers and collections from clients.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to obtain feedback on products, services, and future business opportunities.
• Attend customer meetings, technical discussions, and presentations as required.
• Provide after-sales technical support in collaboration with suppliers.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns and ensuring prompt issue resolution.
• Prepare sales reports, activity reports, and performance updates for management.
• Conduct field visits to drilling rigs, yards, and customer locations to support product applications and operational requirements.
• Assist with maintenance planning and maintaining maintenance records where required.
• Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Section Head – Drilling Products.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales engineering, technical support, or drilling products within the oil & gas industry.
• Good understanding of drilling equipment, products, and field operations.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• General computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work both in office and field environments, including visits to rigs and client sites.
• A proactive mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills.
