Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai is seeking a rental contract specialist to proactively secure short- and long-term agreements with civil, MEP, facility management, and industrial clients. You will assess site conditions and coordinate with logistics to ensure optimal equipment utilization.

Strong English communication, a valid UAE driving license, and willingness to travel to construction sites are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs)/MEWPs preferred.
• Understanding of lift capacities, working heights and footprints.
• Familiarity with IPAF and OSHA safety standards.
• Strong negotiation skills and fluency in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively on loud construction sites and in boardrooms.
• Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Proactively identify and secure short-term and long-term rental contracts with civil contractors, MEP contractors, facility management firms, and industrial plants.
• Conduct on-site evaluations to determine the safest and most efficient equipment for the client's specific site conditions (assessing working height, horizontal outreach, terrain type, and weight constraints).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with site engineers, procurement officers, and project managers to ensure our fleet is their first choice for working at height.
• Prepare accurate rental quotes, negotiate terms, manage rental contract renewals, and coordinate equipment delivery and mobilization dates with the logistics team.
• Monitor fleet availability and actively push under-utilized assets (e.g., maximizing the rental days for specific boom or scissor lift models).
• Assist the finance team when necessary to ensure timely invoicing and collection of rental payments from assigned accounts.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong preference for candidates experienced in Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs / MEWPs).
• Strong understanding of lift capacities, working heights, machine footprints, and the operational differences between articulating boom lifts, telescopic boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
• Familiarity with international safety standards for working at heights (e.g., IPAF, OSHA).
• Strong negotiation skills with fluency in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively on loud construction sites as well as in professional corporate boardrooms.
• Valid local driving license and willingness to travel frequently to construction sites and industrial zones.
