The Arabic-speaking sales advisor will produce desirable sales results and ensure that sales attain their monthly objectives by mastering the sales process and displaying a professional customer service behavior that exceeds customer expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the smooth opening and closing of the boutique.
- Prepare the boutique for welcoming customers: checking the showcases and displays, monitoring cleanliness and tidiness of the showroom at all times, and ensuring inventory count and control at the beginning of every shift.
- Greet and welcome customers according to Mouawad retail guidelines.
- Attend to customers and provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Portray an immaculate grooming and appearance look.
- Present jewelry using Mouawad standards and make sales to create an enchanting experience.
- Always be aware of the price before communicating it to customers by checking the label first.
- Upsell and cross-sell at every opportunity and promote other Mouawad branches.
- Follow the boutique manager's or shift supervisor’s instructions regarding cash deposit, money exchange, bank deposits, Gold Souks visits for jewelry repairs, etc.
- Maintain the safe room and showroom displays according to the 5S methodology.
- Respond to management projects when assigned (attending events and exhibitions).
- Maintain and develop great relationships with customers.
- Gather market and customer information by engaging with customers and recording interests.
- Record sales and order information and present it to the showroom manager via phone or mail.
- Support team members during the sales process.
- Attend team meetings and share best practices with colleagues.
- Receive and handle repairs from customers.
Needed Skills and Competencies
- 3-5 years of experience in the jewelry and diamond industry; high-end jewelry background is recommended.
- Outstanding and luxurious customer service skills.
- Interpersonal communication skills.
- Arabic speaker (must).
