Job summary

CSCEC Middle East is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental practices at construction sites in Dubai, including secant piling, shoring, micro tunneling, pumping stations, and NDRC works.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering-related degree with OH&S or Environmental focus, 5–7 years of UAE experience, and relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely. Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and DM standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in infrastructure and civil projects within the UAE.
• Certified in NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent HSE certification.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, DM standards, ISO 45001, and environmental management systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer and Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in infrastructure and civil projects within the UAE.
• Proven experience with Dubai Municipality projects involving secant piling, shoring, micro tunneling, pumping stations, and NDRC works.
• Certified in NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent recognized HSE certification.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, DM standards, ISO 45001, and environmental management systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and report-writing skills.
