Job summary

Confidential is seeking experienced Safety Officers / Safety Inspectors for building construction projects in the UAE. Candidates must have proven UAE experience on the main contractor side and 3-7 years of UAE construction experience.

Responsibilities include site inspections, enforcing HSE policies, risk assessments, safety reporting, toolbox talks, incident investigations, and coordinating with main contractor management to uphold high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven UAE experience in building construction projects on the main contractor side.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work across high-rise and villa construction projects.
• Strong communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Monitor and enforce HSE policies and procedures on site.
• Perform risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit safety reports and documentation to management.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for site personnel.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses and recommend preventive measures.
• Liaise with main contractor management to maintain high safety standards.
