Job summary

HUDSON is seeking an experienced Safety / EHS Engineer for UAE-based substation projects. The role requires strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction and electrical infrastructure, with NEBOSH certification mandatory.

Location is UAE (On Site). Candidates should have 5–10 years of EHS experience, a Civil/Electrical/Mechanical engineering degree, and be able to manage site inductions, HSE plans, inspections, and incident investigations in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical).
• NEBOSH Certification - Mandatory.
• 5–10 years of proven experience in EHS roles.
• Experience in Substation Projects (Above 220kV).
• Valid passport with at least 9 months validity.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Conduct HSE inductions and awareness sessions for all site personnel.
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE and welfare plans.
• Perform routine site inspections and lead incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Work Method Statements (WMS), and risk assessments.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure works align with HSE policies.
• Provide reports and documentation related to safety performance and site compliance.
