Job summary

Hudson IT and Manpower in UAE is hiring an experienced Safety / EHS Engineer for substation projects. The role requires strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction and electrical infrastructure.

Location is UAE (On Site). NEBOSH certification is mandatory; candidates should have a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5–10 years of EHS experience, with Substation Projects above 220 kV, and a valid passport.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• NEBOSH Certification – Mandatory.
• 5 to 10 years of proven EHS experience.
• Experience in Substation Projects (Above 220kV).
• Valid passport with a minimum of 9 months validity.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Conduct HSE inductions and awareness sessions for all site personnel.
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE and welfare plans.
• Perform routine site inspections and lead incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Work Method Statements (WMS), and risk assessments.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all works align with HSE policies.
• Provide reports and documentation related to safety performance and site compliance.
