Job summary

Safran Seats in Abu Dhabi invites an experienced Sales & Operations Planning and Master Scheduling Manager to lead the local S&OP process and the Dubai final assembly MPS. You will coordinate with central supply chain, shape demand assumptions, and translate them into feasible supply plans, balancing capacity with constraints for new and existing programs.

Occasional international collaboration and up to 20% travel are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading S&OP or Master Scheduling in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong ERP/MRP technical competence.
• Experience in capacity planning and recovery scenarios.
• Advanced analytical abilities with measurable improvements.
• Lean practices or 8D problem solving is an advantage.
• APICS/CPIM qualification desirable.
• Understanding of Integrated Business Planning and link of SOP to financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate the local S&OP process, aligning with central Supply Chain procedures and governance.
• Lead and facilitate S&OP forums with clear roles, timely input/output, and effective decision communication.
• Participate in global Demand Reviews and represent Dubai BU interests.
• Lead scenario planning locally and across units for new or changing programs.
• Align site supply plans with Engineering schedules for new or changed programs.
• Translate unconstrained demand into capacity- and constraints-based supply plan.
• Identify ERP load gaps from new programs and define mitigating actions for long lead-time components.
• Review mid- and long-term capacity scenarios with Operations and identify bottlenecks.
• Develop localized processes to analyze indirect constraints.
• Create, update, and maintain the Master Production Schedule for Dubai Final Assembly; drive ERP inputs.
• Forecast resource needs and align load levelling targets.
• Lead weekly MPS review meetings and propose solutions for backlog or delays.
• Prepare rolling inventory forecasts and drive inventory optimization actions.
• Validate ERP flow parameters and propose safety stock policies.
