Safran Seats in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Production Planning & Control Manager to lead the end-to-end scheduling of production in a new plant dedicated to aerospace seats.

You will translate MPS plans into shop-floor schedules, manage capacity and part enablement, and drive improvements through ERP-driven processes and lean practices. You will coach a small team and collaborate with Operations and Logistics to meet delivery targets.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning and shop floor scheduling management, preferably in aviation or a similar regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems for Material Management and Production Planning.
• Proven ability to drive measurable improvements in production planning metrics.

Responsabilidades

• Leading daily and weekly production scheduling activities in alignment with ERP requirements and the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Translating mid-term MPS plans into actionable shop-floor schedules, accounting for available capacity and part enablement.
• Defining scheduling time fences and rules in coordination with Operations and Logistics teams.
• Managing work center prioritization, balancing resources, and addressing delivery and efficiency targets.
• Identifying and coordinating responses to component shortage risks, supporting material flow and expediting actions as required.
• Overseeing planning parameter reviews, including ERP data accuracy and planning metrics.
• Driving daily and weekly planning reviews, monitoring schedule adherence and coordinating recovery actions.
• Supporting the implementation of engineering changes in the ERP for new and existing production programs.
• Managing supply chain elements for shop floor execution and resolving Manufacturing Order issues.
• Ensuring all Production Planning & Control (PPC) processes are properly documented and compliant with business and quality standards.
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives, supporting digital transformation, and promoting lean methodologies across planning activities.
• Coaching and developing a team of 3-4 Production Schedulers, ensuring effective performance and workload management.
