Qualifications

• Preferably in an international, luxury five-star hotel.
• English - excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional and efficient service at all times.
• Perform duties as per outlet requirements.
• Be knowledgeable of all services and products offered by the hotel.
• Explain and upsell all items offered by the department and offer alternatives.
• Monitor operating supplies, equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage.
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the outlet.
• Handle guest inquiries courteously and report complaints to supervisors.
• Report guest complaints and follow up with guests as needed.
• Adhere to hotel policies on fire, hygiene, health and safety.
• Maintain good rapport with staff and guests.
• Maintain and update the restaurant’s guest history and reservation book.
• Coordinate printing of restaurant menus.
