Job summary

VentureOne is seeking a Manufacturing Functional Consultant focused on Robotics and CNC to define shop-floor workflows and functional requirements for advanced manufacturing lines in Abu Dhabi. You will work with operators, OEMs, MES/digital teams, and SAP interfaces to translate production operations into concrete workflows and acceptance criteria.

The role combines hands-on manufacturing knowledge with consulting skills, addressing automation across CNC, robotics, testing, and material

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Production Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or related discipline.
5–8 years of experience in discrete manufacturing, manufacturing consulting, or automation projects.
Strong understanding of CNC machining shop-floor operations, tooling, probing, and routing.
Experience with robotic assembly lines, vision inspection, and station-to-station flow.
Proven ability to translate operations into functional requirements, workflows, and test scenarios.

Responsibilities

Develop shop-floor functional workflows for CNC machining, robotics, inspection, and materials handling.
Translate operations into functional requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria for automation and MES.
Create process maps, swimlanes, and diagrams covering operator–machine interactions and interlocks.
Define functional requirements for robotic cells, part identification, loading/unloading, and fixture selection.
Document normal/abnormal/recovery workflows for vendors’ automation designs.
Support alignment between SAP/MES processes and shop-floor execution and assist in tests.
