Job summary

Tanqeeb in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a technically skilled Robot Parking System Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, install, and repair automated parking systems across mechanical, electrical, and PLC/control domains. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, implement reactive repairs, and ensure compliance with HSE and local regulations, including after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Education: ITI, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Automation or related engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of GCC experience in PLC-based systems and automation or similar industrial systems.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of electrical, mechanical, PLC, control and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PPM) on robotic/automated parking systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, PLC, and control-system components to minimise downtime.
• Carry out reactive and breakdown maintenance, including installation and repair of customised robotic parking systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems, sensors, motors, control panels, VFDs, wiring, and related automation components.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify potential equipment failures before they occur.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with HSE standards and applicable local regulations.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and service requests, including after-hours and night-shift support.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, repairs, and replacement components.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of automated/robotic parking systems, covering mechanical, electrical, and PLC/control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PPM) on robotic/automated parking systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, PLC, and control-system components to minimise downtime.
• Carry out reactive and breakdown maintenance, including installation and repair of customised robotic parking systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems, sensors, motors, control panels, VFDs, wiring, and related automation components.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify potential equipment failures before they occur.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: ITI, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of GCC experience in PLC-based systems, automation, electromechanical maintenance, or similar industrial systems.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of electrical, mechanical, PLC, control, and automation systems.
• Experience with robotic/automated parking systems will be highly preferred.
• Candidates with experience in industrial automation, automated warehouses, conveyor systems, elevators/escalators, or similar automated equipment may also be considered.
• Good communication skills in English, with the ability to understand and communicate technical information.
• Physically fit and willing to work night shifts, emergency call-outs, and after-hours support when required.
