Client of Parisima Talent in Dubai is seeking a highly capable Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for critical material handling and automation systems. The role focuses on ensuring reliability, availability, and peak performance while upholding health, safety, and operational excellence standards.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Experience leading and supervising maintenance technicians in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance methodologies.
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Proven troubleshooting of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and control system drawings.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, drives and VFDs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise maintenance activities across site equipment and automation systems.
• Ensure planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
• Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvements to maximize reliability and availability.
• Respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate corrective maintenance.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
• Support root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.

strong What You ll Be Doing strong

• Lead and supervise maintenance activities across site equipment and automation systems
• Ensure planned preventive maintenance PPM activities are completed on schedule and to a high standard
• Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvements to maximize reliability and availability
• Respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate corrective maintenance activities

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all health safety and environmental regulations
• Conduct maintenance activities in accordance with company safety standards and best practices
• Ensure contractors and maintenance personnel adhere to site safety procedures and permit requirements

• Lead coach and develop a team of maintenance technicians
• Support technician training and technical development
• Allocate resources effectively to achieve maintenance objectives and operational targets
• Monitor team performance and drive accountability within the maintenance function

strong Operational Support strong

• Monitor and respond to maintenance requests through the site ticketing system
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and vendor activities to minimize operational disruption
• Manage annual maintenance contracts and ensure service providers meet contractual obligations
• Communicate effectively with operational stakeholders regarding maintenance activities and equipment status

strong Continuous Improvement strong

• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability performance and maintenance efficiency
• Review maintenance trends and equipment data to drive proactive improvements
• Support implementation of engineering modifications and process enhancements
• Share feedback and recommendations to improve site maintenance practices and equipment performance

strong What You ll Need strong

• Degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering qualification
• Hands‑on experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance disciplines
• Experience leading and supervising maintenance technicians within an industrial logistics manufacturing or automation environment
• Strong knowledge of Preventive Maintenance PM and Predictive Maintenance methodologies
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems CMMS
• Proven experience troubleshooting Material Handling Equipment MHE and automation systems
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical electrical and control system drawings
• Experience maintaining conveyor systems motors drives and inverters VFDs
• Experience in MEP and base building maintenance operations
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

strong Preferred Experience strong

• Experience with high-voltage switching operations
• Experience working with sortation systems and automated distribution equipment
• Knowledge of barcode scanners and scanning systems
• Experience with print‑and‑apply labelling machines
• HNC HND BSc BEng Apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification
• Experience within e-commerce logistics fulfillment centers warehouses airports manufacturing plants or highly automated environments
