Job summary

SFORS, a proprietary trading firm, seeks an Operations Manager to join the Risk Management Department and strengthen risk governance across trading activities. This role emphasizes monitoring activity, managing incidents, and maintaining robust processes.

You will develop and enforce SOPs, coordinate with traders and operations teams, and elevate high-risk scenarios to protect firm capital while enabling efficient operations in a fast-moving market environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational or technical support roles.
• Hands-on experience with ticketing systems and issue resolution.
• Ability to create and maintain operational documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive, autonomous, and able to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of trading is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor trading activity and ensure it follows risk limits and internal policies.
• Manage tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, including SOPs and checklists.
• Handle operational issues and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
• Identify unusual or high-risk situations and elevate when needed.
• Share risk-related updates with traders, broker management and operations teams.
