Sisco Jobs is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Rigging Supervisor position in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves supervising rigging and lifting activities on an oil and gas project site, ensuring safe execution and compliance with site procedures.

You will coordinate crane movements, rigging crews, and lifting equipment, inspect rigging gear, and conduct pre-lift briefings. Relevant rigging/supervisory training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical qualification in mechanical/rigging required.
• Relevant rigging, lifting supervisory training preferred.
• Certifications may be preferred depending on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise rigging and lifting activities at the Oil & Gas project site with safe execution.
• Coordinate crane movements, rigging crews, lifting equipment, and site activities.
• Review lifting requirements and ensure rigging arrangements are appropriate for the load.
• Inspect slings, shackles, wire ropes, hooks, lifting beams and other rigging equipment before use.
• Ensure lifting and rigging activities comply with safety procedures and site requirements.
• Conduct pre-lift briefings and communicate procedures, hazards, and responsibilities to rigging personnel.
• Monitor lifting operations and stop work for unsafe conditions or defects.
• Coordinate with crane operators, safety personnel, supervisors and other site teams during lifting operations.
