Job summary

Worley is seeking a Rigging & Lifting Specialist in Abu Dhabi to lead safe, compliant lifting activities across large-scale oil and gas projects. You will review lifting plans, certify critical lifts, and ensure crane configurations meet project specs and ADNOC requirements.

You will provide technical guidance, mentor crews, and coordinate with EPC contractors to maintain safety and efficiency on offshore and onshore scopes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 15+ years in oil and gas/petrochemical.
• At least 5 years in a similar mega-project role.
• ADNOC project experience is required.
• Offshore project experience is required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for lift sketches and checks.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve lifting plans, studies, and procedures.
• Provide input for critical and heavy lifts.
• Verify crane selection, capacity, and load charts.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC, UAE regulations and international standards.
• Conduct site inspections and audits of lifting activities.
• Mentor lifting supervisors and rigging teams.
