Job summary

MENA WATER FZC seeks an experienced engineer to evaluate tenders and prepare techno-commercial proposals for water and wastewater systems. You will design hydraulic processes, assess membranes (RO/UF/DI) and disinfection methods, and develop submittals and BOQs to win municipal and industrial projects.

The role requires strong process design, costing, and coordination skills, with focus on optimized solutions and high-quality documentation in a fast-paced bidding environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in water and wastewater treatment industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare process designs, hydraulic calculations, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and technical submittals.
• Review tender documents and develop optimized technical and commercial proposals.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and life-cycle cost analyses.
• Coordinate proposal submissions and ensure timely completion.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal departments throughout the bidding process.
• Support project teams during project execution, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Identify innovative technologies and process improvements to enhance project competitiveness.

Job Role:

• Responsible for evaluatingtenders and inquiriesspecifications, preparing techno-commercialProposalsand expert indesigns,drawings, costing, SOWs, BOQs,and reports,OPEXandperperationof technicalsubmittals whilst ensuring that the company providesthe best-optimized solution required toexecute tenderor inquiry towin the project successfully.
• Required to provide technical process support totheproject team for awarded projects.
• Responsible for undertakingcompleteprocess anddetailed hydraulicDesign for Water Treatment PlantsincludingRO,UF,DI,UV and other disinfection methodsplusall types of water filtration andother Membranetechnologies for water and wastewater (DM Water..etc), andalsoprovide sales activities todrive business opportunities and project acquisitionof the above mentioned systems forboth municipal andindustrial applications.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
