Job summary

MENA-Water in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Engineer to evaluate tenders, prepare techno-commercial proposals, and perform detailed hydraulic design for water treatment plants. The role covers RO, UF, DI, UV, membrane technologies, and related filtration systems for municipal and industrial applications.

You will provide technical process support for awarded projects, oversee detailed designs, cost estimations, and SOWs while driving sales activities to win opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in water and wastewater treatment.
• Experience in process design, optimization, and process simulation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare process designs, hydraulic calculations, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and technical submittals.
• Review tender documents and develop optimized technical and commercial proposals.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and life-cycle cost analyses.
• Coordinate proposal submissions and ensure timely completion.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal departments throughout the bidding process.
• Support project teams during project execution, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Identify innovative technologies and process improvements to enhance project competitiveness.

• Responsible for evaluating tenders and inquiries specifications, preparing techno-commercial Proposals and expert in designs, drawings, costing, SOWs, BOQs, and reports, OPEX and perperation of technical submittals whilst ensuring that the company provides the best-optimized solution required to execute tender or inquiry to win the project successfully.
• Required to provide technical process support to the project team for awarded projects.
• Responsible for undertaking complete process and detailed hydraulic Design for Water Treatment Plants including RO, UF, DI, UV and other disinfection methods plus all types of water filtration and other Membrane technologies for water and wastewater (DM Water..etc), and also provide sales activities to drive business opportunities and project acquisition of the above mentioned systems for both municipal and industrial applications.

• Cost estimation and budgeting skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
