Job summary

Etihad Airways is seeking a data-driven professional to support the Network Optimization unit from Abu Dhabi. You will use analytical and data mining techniques to maximize revenue, document actions by RM teams, and help execute optimization strategies.

You will summarize insights, monitor demand shifts, and ensure RMS reflects capacity changes. The role requires 3 years in a numerate analytics environment, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and proficiency in SQL/R/Python/Power BI/Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, statistics, economics or business administration.
• 3 years working experience in a complex numerate and analytical environment, airline industry preferred.
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and query tools including at least 2 of: SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with solid experience in business analysis, and at least 2 of: segmentation, regression analysis, clustering, forecasting, web analytics.

Responsibilities

• Use analytical and data mining techniques to support the Network Optimization unit in revenue maximizing opportunities.
• Develop and document implemented actions by network optimization and RM teams.
• Support the development and execution of the strategies developed by network optimization teams.
• Summarize and visualize results and highlight insights and opportunities.
• Document all ad-hoc and structural changes and measure revenue results for all network capacity changes.
• Review network constrained and unconstrained demand from PROS and propose capacity shifts.
• Monitor the build on new frequencies/routes and update the network team.
• Coordinate internally to obtain capacity restrictions and ensure RMS is updated on a timely basis.
