• Basic POS and cash handling understanding.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand their requirements to recommend suitable products.
• Proactively engage with visitors and convert potential shoppers into customers.
• Promote the company’s loyalty program to encourage customer retention and repeat purchases.
• Deliver excellent customer service by following the company’s GUEST service model: Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, and Thank.
• Maintain knowledge of the group’s brands to provide relevant product recommendations and cross-selling opportunities.
• Explain product features, benefits, materials, usage, and care instructions to customers.
• Handle customer questions professionally and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance at all times.
• Demonstrate a positive, flexible, and customer-focused attitude.
• Be willing to work extended hours during busy sales periods when required.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to provide accurate recommendations and help minimize stock loss.
• Stay informed about promotions, new products, and available inventory.
• Ensure products are displayed attractively according to store layout and merchandising standards.
• Follow visual merchandising (VM) guidelines and stock management procedures.
• Maintain appropriate presentation of clearance and promotional products.
• Accurately record incoming and outgoing stock.
• Replenish products on the sales floor to maintain availability.
• Re-merchandise products when required to maintain an organized and attractive store.
• Use upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain awareness of product availability, promotions, and inventory levels.
• Operate the POS system accurately for customer billing and transactions.
• Complete cash-till opening and closing procedures according to company guidelines.
• Process cash, credit card, vouchers, and other approved payment methods accurately.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and customer change correctly.
• Follow all store security and loss prevention procedures.
• Support daily store operations and complete other duties assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
