Job description

The Sales Executive is responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience while achieving individual and store sales targets. The role involves assisting customers in selecting suitable products, providing accurate product information, generating sales, maintaining proper product presentation, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the retail store.

The Sales Executive should demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to identify sales opportunities and convert customer interactions into successful sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Provide accurate information regarding products, prices, availability, promotions, and policies.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally.
• Ensure every customer receives a positive and consistent shopping experience.
• Maintain professional appearance, grooming, and conduct in accordance with company standards.
• Proactively approach customers and understand their requirements, preferences, and budget.
• Recommend suitable products based on customer needs and product specifications.
• Promote new arrivals, special offers, promotions, and seasonal products.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling complementary products.

• Ensure merchandise is handled carefully and stored appropriately.
• Support visual merchandising and promotional displays as instructed by management.
• Process customer purchases accurately through the POS system.
• Handle cash, card, and other approved payment methods responsibly.
• Work closely with the Store Manager and other team members to achieve store objectives.
• Support colleagues during busy periods and maintain smooth store operations.
• Participate in stock takes, promotional activities, events, and store campaigns.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities reasonably assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; a relevant sales or retail qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a premium retail, sports, golf, fashion, or lifestyle environment.
• Experience in golf retail or knowledge of golf products will be an added advantage.
• Previous experience working with POS systems and handling customer transactions.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
