Job summary

Al-Futtaim Retail seeks a Sales Assistant to generate sales and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will engage customers, present products, and ensure the store is tidy and visually compelling while performing various operational duties as directed by store management.

The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and utilization of CAD tools for visuals and merchandising. Prior retail experience and ability to stand for long periods are required.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer service oriented with enthusiasm and energy.
• Ability to maintain store standards and cleanliness.
• Basic proficiency in visual merchandising and CAD software.
• High School Degree.
• 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
• Ability to use CAD packages (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator or Photoshop) to create visuals and plans.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to stand for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive first impression for customers with energetic attitude and appropriate dress code.
• Greet customers upon entry with a smile and friendly greeting.
• Thank customers upon exit and invite return visits.
• Provide current information about products and assist with fittings and sales.
• Operate cash wrap efficiently, offer gift cards, and maintain cleanliness while capturing customer data.
• Maintain a sparkling, clean store environment and uphold store standards.
