Job summary

A leading design consultancy in the UAE is seeking an Architectural Engineer for UAE Nationals only. The role involves designing projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and delivering high-quality designs within timely schedules. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in architecture or Interior Design, along with experience in retail and corporate office interiors. Knowledge of CAD and design software is essential. This role requires excellent coordination with internal and external stakeholders for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with at least 3 years as an interior designer in retail shops and corporate offices.
• Experience in Digital / Telecom companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing projects and ensuring delivery within cost and timelines.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to incorporate design inputs.
• Prepare and deliver tender documents including architectural drawings and BOQ.
• Oversee project management from initiation to close out stages.

Skills

Knowledge of architecture, interior design and architectural principles and techniques

Knowledge of types of building materials and construction methods

Knowledge of CAD/Revit/BIM and similar design software

Knowledge of design programs including Adobe Photoshop and InDesign

Basic knowledge of local authorities’ requirements

Basic knowledge of engineering relating to building design and costs

Skill in drafting 2D/3D architectural drawings

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Education

Bachelor's degree in architecture / Interior Design

Master’s degree in architecture / Interior Design / Engineering Management
