Job summary

Remotedxb is seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to oversee daily repair and maintenance across multiple retail locations. The role requires coordinating proactive maintenance, supervising contractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

You will manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and monitor expenditures while guiding store teams and upholding building code requirements. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Facilities Management preferred.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, repair management, or retail operations, preferably in multi-location environments.
• Previous experience managing teams, contractors, vendors, and technicians.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and managing maintenance projects.
• Proficient in Google Suite and facilities management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day repair and maintenance of retail store facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and flooring.
• Coordinate routine and proactive maintenance schedules and perform store inspections.
• Manage and supervise external contractors and service providers to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.
• Manage repair and maintenance spends, negotiate contracts, and monitor expenses for cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, ADA compliance, and building codes.
• Support vendor and store communications ticketing systems to streamline visibility and SLAs.
• Provide standards training and guidance to store teams.
