Job summary

Info Resume Edge is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee our facilities and equipment. You will lead a skilled maintenance team, implement preventive programs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all assets.

The role requires 7+ years in facility maintenance with at least 3 in a leadership capacity and strong knowledge of CMMS and building systems. You will manage budgets and coordinate cross-department projects to improve reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7 years progressively responsible facility and equipment maintenance experience, at least 3 in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
• Experience with CMMS systems and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all facilities systems and equipment.
• Lead, manage and mentor the maintenance team to ensure high performance and accountability.
• Oversee building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and security.
• Manage maintenance budgets including forecasting, cost control and procurement of parts and services.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with other departments for facility-related needs and improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, repairs and inventory.
• Plan and supervise facility upgrades, renovations or expansions.
• Develop and implement emergency response and contingency plans for facility operations.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians manage preventative and corrective maintenance programs and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. This role is critical to maintaining the functionality safety and efficiency of all physical assets across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of building systems maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership team management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to interpret blueprints manuals and technical documents.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) Facility Management Professional (FMP) or similar.
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g. healthcare manufacturing education hospitality).
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy management.
