Job summary

Jefferies is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Vice President to join our Dubai-based Restructuring team. You will lead complex restructuring and liability management transactions across the Middle East, coordinating with clients, legal advisers, creditors, and investors.

The role emphasizes execution, financial modelling, and stakeholder communications within a high-profile, growth-focused franchise.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant investment banking, restructuring, special situations, leveraged finance, corporate finance, turnaround advisory, or restructuring consulting experience.
• Strong transaction execution experience with exposure to debt restructuring, distressed situations, insolvency, liability management, or strategic finance transactions.
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of restructuring and recapitalization mandates.
• Manage complex liability management, debt restructuring, refinancing, distressed M&A, rescue financing, and recapitalization transactions.
• Prepare and review financial models including liquidity forecasting, integrated operating models, debt capacity analysis, recovery analysis, valuation models, and restructuring scenarios.
• Coordinate due diligence processes and manage interactions with clients, legal advisers, creditors, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Draft and review transaction materials including pitch books, information memoranda, management presentations, term sheets, and board materials.
• Support senior bankers in developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Participate in client meetings, strategic discussions, and business development initiatives.
• Identify new opportunities within existing client relationships and broader market developments.
• Contribute to the preparation of marketing materials and strategic ideas for prospective clients.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop Analysts and Associates.
• Review financial modelling, valuation work, and presentation materials prepared by junior team members.
• Support recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives across the team.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture
