Job summary
Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism is seeking a Systems Engineer, Infrastructure & Disaster Recovery to maintain and optimise the organisation’s server, virtualization, container, backup and selected cloud infrastructure. The role ensures high availability, security and recoverability through platform administration, monitoring, automation and tested disaster-recovery practices.

Qualifications
- Experience administering Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
- Experience with Kubernetes infrastructure and cluster management.
- Strong backup and disaster‑recovery practice experience.
- Automation and scripting to provision, monitor, and recover infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Patch, upgrade and decommission servers per standards.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
- Monitor infrastructure availability, performance and capacity.
- Troubleshoot OS and infra incidents with IT teams.
- Coordinate deployments with DevOps and Applications teams.
- Maintain disaster-recovery procedures and runbooks.
- Automate provisioning, monitoring and recovery tasks.
