Job summary

The role requires extensive UAE/Dubai experience, strong project management, and a hands-on approach to problem solving and documentation. On-site work in Dubai with potential travel to other sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years as a Resident Engineer for Building/Villas projects with 15+ years in construction.
• UAE experience with familiarity of Dubai standards and regs.
• Experience with building codes, site safety, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day on-site construction activities, ensuring plans and schedules are followed.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers for smooth execution.
• Perform site inspections and quality control to maintain high workmanship standards.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and site documentation.
• Analyze and resolve complex engineering and construction issues as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards in Dubai.
• Manage project resources including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies as required.
• Implement cost control measures and pursue continuous improvement in construction management.
• Apply sustainable practices and innovative solutions to improve project outcomes.

As a key member of our construction management team you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of on-site construction activities ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards of quality safety and efficiency.
