Job summary

A leading technology company in Dubai is seeking a Resident Engineer to oversee maintenance operations and quality control at Al Maktoum International Airport. This full-time role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years experience in infrastructure maintenance within the UAE aviation sector. ANRA Technologies seeks a qualified and experienced Resident Engineer to oversee both maintenance operations and quality control for a strategic aviation infrastructure project at Al Maktoum International Airport, delivered in collaboration with Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects (DAEP) and Dubai Air Navigation Services (DANS).

This full-time role combines technical oversight of ongoing infrastructure and system maintenance with quality control during installation and commissioning, ensuring alignment with local regulations, aviation standards, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Oversight

• Supervise ongoing preventive and corrective maintenance across civil, mechanical, electrical, and IT systems
• Monitor system uptime and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime of mission-critical systems (e.g., UTM, HVAC, networking).
• Maintain records of asset performance and support O&M documentation during handover and post-installation.
• Provide technical support for infrastructure, including consoles, power systems, and BMS.

Quality Assurance and Control

• Review and enforce QA/QC procedures during installation of civil, MEP, and IT infrastructure.
• Perform site inspections to verify workmanship, material compliance, and installation accuracy.
• Oversee the integration and commissioning of hardware and software components within the MOR and ERR.
• Document and manage non-conformance issues and corrective actions

Coordination and Compliance

• Serve as the on-site technical liaison between ANRA, subcontractors, and DAEP/DANS teams.
• Coordinate with all third-party vendors for installation, testing, and final acceptance of deployed systems.
• Ensure all activities comply with DAEP, ICAO, DANS, and Dubai Municipality standards, including HSSE guidelines.
• Support regular project reviews, inspections, and handovers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in infrastructure maintenance and QA/QC roles in the UAE.
• Strong familiarity with aviation systems, ATC infrastructure, and mission-critical environments.
• Knowledge of UAE regulatory codes, ICAO standards, and DAEP/DANS requirements.
• Hands-on experience with structured cabling, power distribution, HVAC, and commissioning.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and maintenance tracking tools (e.g., CMMS).

Preferred Attributes

• Experience supporting the maintenance of airport control centers, ATM systems, or digital command-and-control infrastructure
• Understanding of software system lifecycle support and IT service management (ITSM) is a plus
• Arabic language proficiency is an advantage
• Proficiency with DAEP/DWC site access protocols and safety enforcement standards.
• Certification in QA/QC, HSSE, or maintenance management (e.g., NFPA, IOSH, ISO 41001) desirable.
