Job summary

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island is seeking a proactive Reservation Agent to manage hotel bookings across phone, email and online channels. You will respond to inquiries, process individual and group reservations, and coordinate with departments to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.

Requires strong guest service focus, fluent English and Russian, and at least 1 year of hotel experience. The role offers professional growth and exposure to luxury hospitality within the Accor-branded property.

Qualifications

• Passion for guest service and hospitality excellence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Russian.
• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset.
• Minimum of 1 year hotel experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of property management systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Handle reservation requests via telephone, email, online channels and other booking platforms.
• Process individual, group, corporate and special-event reservations accurately.
• Provide information on room types, rates, packages, promotions, facilities and services.
• Recommend suitable options and upsell rooms and hotel services when appropriate.
• Confirm, modify and cancel reservations per hotel policies.
• Maintain guest profiles, booking details and payments in the reservation system.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales and other departments to satisfy guest requirements.
• Monitor availability, rates and inventory to support revenue optimization.
• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and special requests.

Job Description

The Reservation Agent is responsible for handling hotel room reservations and ensuring a smooth and efficient booking experience for guests. The role involves responding to reservation inquiries, processing bookings, maintaining accurate guest information, and coordinating with other hotel departments to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservation requests via telephone, email, online channels, and other booking platforms.
• Process individual, group, corporate, and special-event reservations accurately.
• Provide guests with information about room types, rates, packages, promotions, hotel facilities, and services.
• Recommend suitable room options and upsell room categories, packages, and additional hotel services when appropriate.
• Confirm, modify, and cancel reservations according to hotel policies.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles, booking details, payment information, and special requests in the hotel reservation system.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure guest requirements are communicated effectively.
• Monitor room availability, rates, restrictions, and inventory to support revenue optimization.
• Follow Rixos brand standards and company policies when handling guest interactions and reservations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
• Ensure all reservations are properly documented and guarantee/payment procedures are followed.
• Assist with managing overbookings, no-shows, cancellations, and other reservation-related issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.
• Support the Reservations Manager and team with daily reports and administrative tasks.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and contribute to positive guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Passion for guest service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset.
• Fluency in English and Russian, and oradditional language is a plus
• Minimum of 1 year previous Hotel experience is an asset.
• Must have the ability to handle a multitude of tasks and Guest requests.
• Knowledge of Property Management Systems, such asPOS is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Experience with a Hotel loyalty program an asset.
• Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
