Job summary

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Reservations Agent to join our Reservations team. Based at the Emirates Palace property, you will handle bookings and materialize the maximum number of guests' requests and reservations in a world-class luxury environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent, has at least one year of luxury-hotel experience, and speaks English and Arabic fluently.

Responsibilities

• Review daily reservation accuracy, rate compliance from segment and source, system close-out when necessary and rate availability.
• Ensure clients’ satisfaction and adherence to Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental service standards.
• Follow internal credit policy.
• Follow up on lost business and bring information about them to the knowledge of the department superiors.
• Spot-check reservations made the previous day and check all VIP arrivals.
• Test calls LQA / IFH results > 85%.
• Follow the internal up-sell program for Reservations department.

About The Job

Based at the Emirates palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Revenue Department, the Reservations Agent is responsible in will handle bookings and materialize the maximum number of guests' requests and reservations. The Reservations Agent reports to the Assistant Reservations Manager.

As Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Review daily reservation accuracy, rate compliance from segment and source, system close-out when necessary and rate availability
• Ensure clients’ satisfaction and adherence to Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental service standards
• Follow internal credit policy
• Follow up on lost business and bring information about them to the knowledge of the department superiors
• Spot-check reservations made the previous day and check all VIP arrivals
• Test calls LQA / IFH results > 85%
• Follow the internal up-sell program for Reservations department
